Both courses are comprehensive with easy to understand examples that apply to everyday life. Each course provides evidence based strategies to make communication with your child enjoyable and exciting. As a first time Mom, I could see the difference in the “talking” that my daughter and I engage in while using the helpful tips provided in these courses!

Book Reading section- HUGE. I recall so many kindergarten teachers saying that although parents are trying to read to children they aren’t doing so effectively. I feel that highlighting this and beginning at a younger age is crucial.

As the mom of a toddler, I’m constantly second guessing my son’s speech and language development. In my head I’m constantly asking myself: Is he on track? Should I be concerned? What can I do to help him? This is where Stay at Home Speech has been a huge help. Not only does Lauren provide practical ways that I can help my son, but she also includes a vast amount of research that truly helps me evaluate his language abilities. I love that Lauren is a certified Speech Language Pathologist and a toddler mom. I can always trust that her content is based on best practices while also providing practical approaches I can use.

The Stay At Home Speech Instagram account has been so helpful and a wonderful resource for me. I have learned so much about language development and how the brain works with children. I work with a lot of the special education population and when it comes to my students, I have learned that labeling is key and asking questions is also essential. This account has not only helped me but can also be a wonderful resource in helping the parents of any students who are struggling with how to help at home!
